The summer sport cricket, tennis & waterpolo matches kicked off once again this year in the summer surrounds of the beautiful Wynberg campus.

Our boys played in true Wynberg spirit with the Old Boys coaching the school boys where needed. Another testament to the time and energy many of our past pupils continue to plough back into their alma mater. Judging from the conversation in the Bill Bowden after the matches, the annual games were once again enjoyed by both the Old Boys and school boys alike.

Few things revive the Wynberg spirit like the enjoyment of getting back onto the school field with Old Boys to take on the young talent of our current boys at the school. There were numerous spectators supporting all the matches. And of course, it's always a great sign when the Old Boys are already discussing how they are planning a comeback against our school boys in 2012. The good old fun and rivalry that goes across the generations of the endless chain during these summer sports games are fantastic. To those of you who played, supported and helped out, a big thank you.
