Valedictory

WOBU President Steve Doidge addressed the new Old Boys of 2010 at the recent Valedictory Ceremony.

The WOBU Committee did the honours of presenting the WOBU ties to our latest members who, together with their parents, were very proud. Mickey took care of the event's photos and the new Wynberg men after dutifully taking their ties rang the school bell - staying true to a tradition that has come to symbolise a passing from school into the wider world, not least the international union that awaits.

From all accounts the day was a resounding success. Of the current matric class of 154, 148 have already joined the union. As for the remainder, we'll get them.
